Itinerary
Day 1
Pick up from your accommodation
Your journey begins in Marrakech, where your driver will meet you at your accommodation before heading towards the High Atlas Mountains. As you leave the city behind, the road climbs through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering beautiful views over mountain villages, terraced fields, and winding valleys.
We’ll stop along the way whenever something catches your eye, whether it’s a panoramic viewpoint, a small Berber village, or a place to enjoy a cup of mint tea.
One of the major stops is the ancient Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most beautiful fortified villages. Wander through its narrow streets, admire its earthen architecture, and enjoy spectacular views from the top before continuing towards Ouarzazate.
In the afternoon, we’ll travel toward the peaceful Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a carefully selected riad. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax after your first day on the road.

Desert Arrival
After breakfast, we continue through some of southern Morocco’s most spectacular landscapes.
Our first stop is Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs rise high above a crystal-clear river. Take time to walk through the canyon, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and watch local life unfold around the palm groves.
As we continue towards Merzouga, the scenery slowly changes. Rocky mountains give way to wide desert plains, ancient kasbahs, and small villages before the first golden dunes of the Sahara appear on the horizon.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where your camel caravan will be waiting. Ride across the peaceful dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun begins to set, painting the sand in beautiful shades of gold and orange.
Your evening is spent in a luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine, Berber music around the campfire, and one of the clearest night skies you’ll ever see.

Option 1: Drive back to Marrakech
There’s no better way to begin your final day than watching the sunrise over the Sahara. It’s a quiet moment that many of our guests remember long after their journey ends. After breakfast, you’ll leave the desert behind and begin the scenic drive back towards Marrakech.
The route takes you through changing landscapes, from desert plains and ancient kasbahs to palm-filled valleys and the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch, enjoy a few scenic viewpoints, and take breaks whenever you need. We never rush the journey, it’s just as much a part of the experience as the destinations themselves.
By late afternoon or early evening, you’ll arrive in Marrakech, where we’ll say goodbye and hope that Morocco has left you with memories you’ll carry for years to come.

Option 2: Drive to Fes
If you’d like, wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful moment many travelers describe as the highlight of their trip.
After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and begin our journey north.
The road follows the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its endless palm groves and traditional oasis villages. We’ll continue through the High Atlas Mountains before crossing the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where you may spot the famous Barbary macaques living freely among the trees.
Our final stop is the charming town of Ifrane, known for its clean streets, gardens, and mountain atmosphere. It’s often called the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” offering a completely different side of the country.
By evening, we’ll arrive in Fes, where your driver will drop you off at your riad or your preferred location, marking the end of your journey.
